Balchder Cymru congratulates Leanne Wood on becoming the new leader of "Plaid" the party of Wales. We wish her all the best and hope that she delivers the big changes the party needs to take itself and the country forward.
We may not see eye to eye on all her policies but that does not stop us from supporting her in her new role and when needed , questioning her decisions and actions. This is an exciting time for plaid and politics in Cymru and I foresee the
party growing considerably in numbers and stature in the coming years.
Let's hope that the party will now step up to the plate, take on the fight and not shy away from what they perceived as not fashionable causes in the past!
We will be watching closely

Balchder Cymru chair and Cymru Secretary of the Celtic league Adam Phillips has been invited to the exclusive opening night of the Touring portrait Exhibition of Queen Elizabeth II of England in the National museum Cardiff on 2 Feb. The Exhibition called "The Queen : Art and Image is described in the invitation as "This major exhibition from the National portrait gallery brings together remarkable images of Queen Elizabeth II spanning the 60 yrs of her reign".

Well its been an eventful year , with plenty of events a lot that have been done year in year out an there been a couple new ones too , like the Dic Penderyn event that was held in Aberafan .
Look out in 2012 when we need to continue with the Wind Farm campaign plus the No to Team GB campaign also other issues that come along as they do .
